T.G.I.F. Linky Party at Mrs. Mc's Place-Lots to Love in February
Aw, say it ain't so, Punxsutawney Phil. I'm ready for Spring now! Okay, whining done-let's move on. As I stated in the title, there is a lot to love about this month. Obviously, there's Valentine's Day-did I mention chocolate? It's Black History Month and so much more. I have a few webquests to help celebrate the various holidays.
Of course, the creative talents of the teacher-authors at TpT have produced some amazing materials that will have you loving the month and your classroom. So, pull up a chair, grab a hot chocolate....or glass of wine, and see what you love this month. You should feel fondly about a few free lessons tucked in among the rest. Stay warm!

T.G.I.F. Linky Party at Mrs. Mc's Place-February Highlights
Did you see the recent episode of Timeless? I'm so hooked on this show-time travel and history! Does it get any better? This show featured, among others, Bass Reeves. He was one of the first black Deputy U.S. Marshals to serve in the west. He was known to be very good at his job. Many think he was the inspiration for the Lone Ranger. I had done a webquest about Bass and was really excited to see his appearance.
February is full of special occasions to mark with your students. Black History Month, Chinese New Year, Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, and Presidents' Day, and I'm sure I've left something out.
